TUPPENCE, is a poley kit about 9 weeks old. Tuppence is the hob on the right, he has a little white streak on his throat, He is dark polecat-coloured, and typical fun-loving baby. Still need a bit of nip training, but getting there very quickly.
SOX, is Kali and Akira's daughter. She is about 16 weeks old. Sox is a silver-mitt sister. Because she has been in boarding since they about 6 weeks old, she is very nervous, as she hasn't been handled very much, but she is a super little girl, and just needs some TLC and confidence building - it won't take long, she's getting braver by the day :)
TINKS is a pretty sandy jill, who's about a year old. Like Brook and Latte, she just wants to have fun (she's currently living with them, and they get on so well together!) She was found dumped by the side of the road, with a huge abscess on the side of her throat. That has been sorted, and she is back to full health. An absolutely super little girl.
BROOK and LATTE are about a year old. Brook is the bini jill and Latte the poley jill. They were found running loose together. Obviously well handled, they are gorgeous girls who just "wanna have fun" as they just love to play. First time ferrets, with not a nasty bone between them.
STAR and SHEBA are Kali and Akira's daughters. They are about 16 weeks old. Star is the silver-mitt with the white mark on her head, Sheba is Akira's daughter. Because they have been in boarding since they were about 6 weeks old, they are very nervous, as they haven't been handled very much, but they are super little girls, and just need some TLC and confidence building - it won't take long, they're getting braver by the day :)
KALI and AKIRA are two lovely jills who have just come to us, having been kept in boarding since early April following an RSPCA case. Kali is the poley girl and Akira the bini. They are 2 years old, and have arrived with their 3 daughters.
TUPPENCE, HA'PENNY and FARTHING are poley kits about 9 weeks old. Tuppence is the hob on the right, he has a little white streak on his throat, Ha'penny and Farthing are both identical jills - and I do mean identical! They are dark polecat-coloured, and typical fun-loving babes. Still need a bit of nip training, but getting there very quickly.
RIVA is a friendly little poley jill, probably about 3 years old. She was picked up as a stray, so we can't be sure. She seems to get on with everyone, humans and ferrets, and is living with Daisy, Mika and Forrest.
FORREST got his name because he wandered up to some picnickers who were enjoying a day out in the New Forest! Covered in fleas and ticks, he had obviously been dumped. They refused to leave him, and took him home all the way to Oxfordshire and contacted us. He's a lovely sandy kit, 5 - 6 months old and really friendly.
SAFFY and DEXTER are a super pair of 'first time ferrets'. They came in separately, but got on as soon as they met. Saffy came in with what we thought was a broken front leg, but X-rays should that nothing was broken. We thought it was a problem she might have been born with, but over the weeks she's been here, it's improved dramatically, and now she's using it normally. She's a cheeky, tiny little poley jill, about 18 months old. Dexter is also about 18 months old. A handsome sandy hob, who was kept on his own until he came here. As a result, he loves his cuddles, but also loves playing and bouncing.
